A New Day is an educational point-and-click side scroller aiming to teach kids about willpower and choices relating to well being.
As you go through the day of a student, you are presented with choices. Your willpower bar drains as you take time to make these choices. At the end of the day, you select choices to remove for the next day, preserving your willpower. This teaches the player that making choices ahead of time preserves willpower, and conserving the energy that you spend making small decisions contributes to a healthy lifestyle.
This game was made in Unity by Julia Del Matto and Agustin Azulay. I made all the art assets for this game, and we collaborated on the writing.
